zSpace has secured a $3 million investment from Planet One Education, a global provider of large-scale learning solutions. The company intends to use the proceeds to strengthen its balance sheet, support working capital needs, and accelerate its international expansion.

Based in San Jose, zSpace delivers 3D tools for STEM, career, and technical education programs. Its headset-free platform is used by over 3,500 institutions to provide interactive, hands-on learning designed to boost student engagement and performance.

In addition to the investment, zSpace and Planet One are also exploring a strategic partnership to expand STEM and vocational training programs internationally.

"This investment and Planet One relationship opens the door to the most important growth markets in education today outside the United States," said Paul Kellenberger, CEO of zSpace, in a press release. "zSpace’s AR/VR ecosystem combined with Planet One’s existing partnerships would position zSpace to support large-scale adoption while creating long-term value."
