  • Users can enable Real 3D in settings to view any 2D content in immersive 3D on supported glasses.
  • The feature runs natively on the X1 chip with no apps, DRM, or proprietary players required.

XREAL has expanded its One Series AR lineup with a new feature called Real 3D, which allows users to convert standard 2D content into immersive 3D. According to the company, Real 3D delivers a simple and universal 3D experience by removing the traditional friction points that limited mainstream 3D adoption.

Once enabled in the device settings, Real 3D automatically applies depth to movies, streaming services, video games, and even users’ own photos and videos. It runs entirely on the company’s X1 spatial computing chip, requiring no apps, special software, DRM permissions, or external players.

The feature is now available on the new XREAL 1S and XREAL One Pro glasses and can be activated through a software update. XREAL 1S is the latest addition to the One Series ecosystem, offering a 1200p display, Sound by Bose audio, and a lightweight 82g frame. With Real 3D onboard, it now turns everyday 2D content into immersive AR experiences.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

Making every video 3D without friction flips the table on content scarcity. Suddenly, the whole internet works in depth.
