  • Little Caesars customers in Los Angeles can now receive orders through Serve Robotics’ autonomous sidewalk robots via Uber Eats.
  • The third-generation Serve robots can transport up to four large pizzas plus sides while maintaining temperature and quality during delivery.

Serve Robotics and Little Caesars have launched an autonomous delivery service in Los Angeles through the Uber Eats platform. The collaboration brings Little Caesars pizzas and other menu items to customers via Serve’s self-driving sidewalk robots.

Serve’s latest delivery robots feature a larger cargo bin that can carry four large pizzas along with items such as Caesar Wings, Italian Cheese Bread, and beverages. The robots are designed to maintain food temperature and quality throughout the delivery process.

“We’re excited to bring autonomous delivery to even more Uber Eats customers through our partnership with Serve Robotics, now delivering Little Caesars orders,” said Megan Jensen, Head of Autonomous Delivery Operations at Uber Eats, in an official press release. “By combining smart technology with everyday convenience, we’re making delivery easier, more reliable, and more sustainable.”

The partnership grows Serve’s footprint on Uber Eats, which currently includes robotic deliveries in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, and Atlanta, with more U.S. locations expected in the near future.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

Little Caesars is another of many fast-food places that have joined the robot delivery party. Uber Eats seems to be the common ground, teaming up with different robotics companies to make it happen. It’s a sign of its commitment to reshaping how food delivery works.
