  • Serve Robotics has extended its sidewalk robot service to Fort Lauderdale, enabling food deliveries through Uber Eats in key neighborhoods.
  • The launch builds on existing operations in Miami and supports the company’s plan to scale its U.S. delivery network.

Serve Robotics has expanded its autonomous sidewalk in South Florida, now making deliveries in Fort Lauderdale. Customers in the Downtown and Las Olas Boulevard areas can now receive restaurant orders via its AI-powered robots through the Uber Eats platform.

The company said the move builds on its recent success in Miami. The expansion will allow it to reach more communities and support additional restaurant partners. Serve worked with local businesses and city officials to align the rollout with Fort Lauderdale’s goals around innovation, mobility, and sustainability.

The Fort Lauderdale launch supports Serve’s nationwide rollout plan to deploy as many as 2,000 delivery robots by year-end. The company already operates with Uber Eats in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, and Atlanta.
