Oxa has raised $103 million in the first close of its Series D round, giving the autonomous vehicle technology company fresh backing for its industrial push. The round includes a $50 million commitment from the National Wealth Fund, alongside support from NVentures and existing shareholders IP Group, Hostplus, and bp Ventures. Oxa said the funding will help it intensify its focus on Industrial Mobility Automation (IMA), which it describes as the automation of repetitive industrial driving tasks.

The company’s technology offer includes Oxa Driver, its configurable and explainable self-driving software, and Oxa Foundry, its development toolchain. Oxa said the funding will support further development of both products and help expand work with customers, including DHL, Vantec, and bp. The company said this reflects product-market fit across a range of industries and use cases, including towing and carrying goods in ports, airports, and manufacturing facilities, as well as asset and perimeter monitoring in solar farms and industrial plants.

Oxa said the new capital will support product development, customer expansion, and growth in key markets across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. The company also said a second and final close of the Series D round is expected in the first half of 2026.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

Oxa’s raise points to a more practical lane for AVs, industrial sites where routes are fixed, tasks are repetitive, and customers already have a reason to automate.
