MassRobotics Opens 2026 Physical AI Fellowship Applications with AWS and NVIDIA
- The 8-week virtual program offers startups technical support, AI tools, and global networking to advance robotics innovation.
- AWS and NVIDIA extend partnerships to provide hands-on guidance, compute credits, and access to specialized platforms.
MassRobotics, a robotics hub based in Boston, has opened applications for the 2026 Physical AI Fellowship in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA. The program supports startups developing intelligent systems that interact with and adapt to the physical world. The second cohort sees the partners return to build on their efforts to help startups move faster from idea to deployment.
The Physical AI Fellowship is an intensive eight-week virtual program designed for early-stage companies building robotics and physical AI solutions. Selected participants get access to AWS's AI stack, NVIDIA’s robotics tools, and one-on-one mentorship from domain experts. This also includes up to $200,000 in AWS credits and opportunities to engage with MassRobotics’ global network of investors, partners, and customers.
The 2025 cohort featured notable startups in physical AI, including construction automation company Bedrock Robotics; Diligent Robotics, which develops service robots for hospitals; and Wandercraft, known for mobility-restoring robotic exoskeletons. Applications for the Spring 2026 program are open now through the end of January.
🌀 Tom’s Take:
The first cohort brought in notable startups tackling serious challenges across sectors like healthcare, agriculture, and construction. That level of quality bodes well for what the second round of this Fellowship might surface.
