Innovative Eyewear Expands Reebok Smartglasses for Indoor Sports
- Octane Shift and Nitrous Shift join the Reebok smart eyewear line with light-adaptive lenses and enhanced audio for indoor training.
- A new silicone add-on, Lucyd Boosters, improves volume and reduces sound leakage in loud spaces like gyms and factory floors.
Innovative Eyewear has released two additions to its Reebok smart eyewear collection. Both are designed specifically for indoor and hybrid training spaces like gyms and pickleball courts. The new Octane Shift and Nitrous Shift models feature light-adaptive lenses that change "from clear to tinted in seconds," along with a powerful sound system and connectivity to a mobile device.

Consistent with other models in the Reebok Powered by Lucyd line, the new smartglasses are available at a $199 price point and offer calling, messaging, navigation, real-time language translation, and access to AI tools by connecting to your mobile phone. They feature noise-canceling mics for clearer audio pickup, along with open-ear hi-fi sound, an 8-hour battery life, fast 2-hour charging, and a lightweight design suited for extended wear.
Innovative Eyewear is also introducing a new add-on for its frames called Lucyd Boosters. Made from silicone, the accessory improves audio output and reduces sound spill in high-noise settings. It’s designed for environments like gyms and factory floors, where open-ear audio typically struggles to stay audible.
🌀 Tom’s Take:
There’s growing demand for smartglasses that work just as well indoors as they do outside, as users look for all-day functionality across environments.
