Immersive Gamebox and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences are teaming up for a new AR title, Batman at Immersive Gamebox, which will launch April 4 across all IGB locations worldwide. The game invites players into Gotham City for a shared interactive adventure powered by motion tracking and touch-sensitive walls.
"We're thrilled to partner with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences to bring Batman to life in this one-of-a-kind immersive adventure," said Lisa Paton, President and CEO of Immersive Gamebox in the company's press release.
Designed for groups of two to six, the experience features branching challenges inspired by the DC universe. Players solve puzzles, drive the Batmobile, scale buildings, and battle familiar foes, including The Joker, The Riddler, Harley Quinn, Bane, and Poison Ivy.
The game combines DC storytelling with Immersive Gamebox’s custom tech platform, offering exclusive content that is only available in its Gameboxes. Bookings are now open at ImmersiveGamebox.com.
🌀 Tom's Take:
Location-based entertainment is a compelling way to introduce the masses to immersive technologies such as augmented reality. People are craving a new "third place" to gather and play—a destination that combines place, people, novel tech, and powerful IP could be just what they are looking for.
