Apple Intelligence Comes to Vision Pro with visionOS 2.4

Apple has released visionOS 2.4, introducing the first set of Apple Intelligence features to Vision Pro. The update includes systemwide tools for rewriting, proofreading, summarizing, and composing text in apps like Mail and Notes. Users can generate images using custom prompts, create emojis based on typed or spoken descriptions, and receive suggested replies in Messages and Mail. Additional features include natural language search in Photos and generating memory movies from typed prompts.

The new Spatial Gallery app features curated immersive content across art, culture, entertainment, and other categories, with new releases arriving regularly. A new iPhone app for Vision Pro allows users to discover spatial experiences, queue downloads, and access information about their device. Guest mode has also been updated to let users choose which apps are available to visitors and to start AirPlay mirroring from an iPhone or iPad.

New Apple Immersive Video content includes VIP: Yankee Stadium, Bono: Stories of Surrender, and a behind-the-scenes experience with Metallica. These titles are presented in 180-degree video and are available to Vision Pro users.

AI has been said to be the peanut butter to XR's jelly, a perfect duo to deliver real value to users, and the big players know this. Apple's move to add Apple Intelligence to Vision Pro follows similar roll-outs from Meta and Google.
