WeRide Robotaxi Revenue Multiplies Nearly Ninefold, Global Expansion Accelerates

WeRide reported a 60.8% year-over-year increase in total revenue for Q2 2025, reaching $17.8 million, according to its earnings report. Robotaxi revenue alone surged nearly ninefold to $6.4 million, the highest quarterly total since the company's founding, and now makes up over a third of overall revenue.
The company also highlighted several robotaxi milestones in its earnings report. These included launching Saudi Arabia’s first autonomous ride service, tripling the WeRide-Uber fleet in Abu Dhabi, and debuting its next-generation robotaxi model, CER, in Shanghai during the WAIC 2025 showcase. Its GXR robotaxi, built on NVIDIA’s DRIVE AGX Thor platform, marked the first mass-produced Level 4 autonomous vehicle to use the chip.
Beyond robotaxis, the report noted progress in autonomous public transit. WeRide launched Southeast Asia’s first fully driverless robobus at Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa, added night shuttle services in Paris with Renault during the Roland-Garros tournament, and expanded robobus testing across Saudi Arabia, targeting integration with metro systems and high-traffic destinations.
