  • Vuzix introduced Vuzix Solutions, a portfolio of integrated smartglasses kits that combine hardware and pre-configured software for enterprise deployment.
  • The first kit, Remote Assist by Vuzix Solutions, delivers native Microsoft Teams and Zoom support built specifically for Vuzix smartglasses.

Vuzix has launched Vuzix Solutions, a new portfolio of integrated enterprise smart glasses deployment kits designed to remove complexity from initial rollouts. Each ruggedized kit pairs either the company’s LX1 or M400 smart glasses with pre-configured software in a single turnkey package. The company says the kits are intended to provide a streamlined path to deployment and immediate operational impact for frontline workers.

Remote Assist is the first kit in the series, adding native Microsoft Teams and Zoom support to Vuzix smart glasses. The company says the applications are optimized for head-mounted use, with hands-free controls and simplified call management, while adhering to Microsoft and Zoom security and compliance standards. Vuzix noted that most collaboration platforms were originally designed for phones, tablets, and PCs, often resulting in suboptimal performance when adapted to head-mounted displays.

Vuzix describes remote assistance as one of the most established enterprise use cases for wearable technology, particularly in hands-busy environments such as field service, logistics, manufacturing, and industrial maintenance. The company said it plans to introduce additional workflow-specific kits in the coming months, each delivering a tailored combination of hardware, software, and workflow optimization aligned to specific enterprise needs.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

By bundling glasses with native collaboration tools, Vuzix is lowering the friction that slows enterprise rollouts.
