  • VITURE has secured $100 million in two Series B rounds to accelerate its development of XR hardware and software.
  • The funding supports global retail expansion and enterprise applications, anchored by the new Luma Series and flagship Beast glasses.

VITURE has closed two new Series B funding rounds, raising a total of $100 million. The company says the capital comes from leading tech investors and strategic firms, though some have asked not to be named. VITURE says this funding marks a major milestone in its push to expand its footprint in the XR market.

The funding comes on the heels of the July launch of the Luma Series, a four-model lineup of XR glasses aimed at both consumers and professionals. Luma and Luma Pro offer video and audio capabilities, while Luma Ultra is VITURE's first true AR-capable glasses, complete with gesture support. All three of these models are now shipping to customers. The Beast, expected this fall, will offer what VITURE "promises is the industry's largest and brightest XR display".

With fresh capital, VITURE plans to grow its retail channels, deepen its enterprise offering, and advance its hardware and software offerings. Distribution has already started through Best Buy, AT&T, and Micro Center, with more partners on the way.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

Hardware is hard, and VITURE’s going to need funding like this to keep up. The smartglasses category is getting crowded fast, with big tech already in, or about to be.
