SYNC ROBOTIC Debuts Taiwan's First AI Platform for Autonomous Security Robots

- SYNC ROBOTIC has unveiled a new AI Robot Platform that integrates reinforcement learning, vision-language models, and autonomous navigation technologies.
- The system supports quadrupeds, humanoids, and drones for 24/7 patrols in high-risk environments, with initial deployments tripling inspection coverage.
SYNC ROBOTIC, a subsidiary of Foxlink Group, has launched Taiwan's first AI Robot Platform, targeting the fast-growing need for intelligent security and inspection. The platform blends hardware with advanced AI, including SLAM, speech and visual recognition, and path planning. It is designed for commercial buildings, factories, public infrastructure, and other environments that benefit from autonomous patrols.
"The 'AI Robot Platform' solution represents a major leap for SYNC ROBOTIC in the realm of Physical AI, and a strategic milestone for Foxlink Group's evolution into smart manufacturing and services," said Freddy Kuo, Chairman of SYNC ROBOTIC, in an official press release. "We're not just building innovative security solutions. We're creating a secure, intelligent, and reliable robotic service foundation that empowers industries worldwide, boosting efficiency and minimizing risk while unlocking new commercial value."
The platform uses the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T N1 model to enable efficient edge computing and real-time decision-making. With modular sensors and autonomous capabilities, the system delivers real-time anomaly detection and automatic alerts. It supports various robotic forms, such as quadrupeds, humanoids, and drones, allowing for round-the-clock patrols with self-navigation and autonomous recharging capabilities.
Initial deployments demonstrate that the robots can triple inspection coverage and reduce human exposure in hazardous settings such as offshore wind farms. SYNC ROBOTIC will begin its global rollout in the U.S. through Foxlink's security brand, Luminys, with plans to expand into manufacturing, climate modeling, and customer service.
🌀 Tom’s Take:
