Global automaker Stellantis and Bolt, one of Europe's largest ride-sharing companies, have announced a partnership to develop and deploy Level 4 autonomous vehicles across Europe. The partnership aims to bring driverless vehicles into Bolt’s network, working towards a shared effort to scale autonomous mobility that meets European safety and regulatory standards.

Stellantis’ AV-Ready Platforms, including the eK0 van and STLA Small platform, will be integrated as part of Bolt’s mobility network, making it available to its user base. Stellantis’ platforms are built for scale and feature integrated sensors and high-performance computing to support safety and reliability. Bolt brings deep experience in shared mobility services and a growing user base of over 200 million customers across 50 countries, making it a key partner for real-world deployment of autonomous fleets.

Testing of autonomous vehicles is scheduled to begin in select European countries in 2026. The rollout will progress from pilot fleets to full-scale production, with initial manufacturing planned for 2029. Bolt aims to scale up to 100,000 autonomous vehicles on its platform by 2035.
