In its Q2 update, Snap emphasized the scale of its augmented reality platform. The company reported that over 350 million people engaged with AR daily, and AR Lenses in the Snapchat camera were used 8 billion times per day. AI-powered lenses, like 90’s School Photos and Cartoon World, collectively surpassed one billion views.

It stated that more than 400,000 developers have built over 4 million Lenses using Snap’s AR tools. To help make Lens creation easier, Snap introduced a Lens Studio iOS app and web tool in Q2 to simplify lens creation for users of all skill levels. It also updated its Len Studio with new features for building games, such as the Bitmoji Suite and dynamic game assets. The company noted that Lens Games now reaches more than 175 million monthly active users, up over 40% year-over-year.

Snap highlighted its announcement of its first consumer-ready Specs AR glasses, which are scheduled to launch in 2026. The company released Snap OS updates that allow developers to create multimodal, AI-powered lenses, including tools for 3D anchoring and speech recognition in over 40 languages.
