  • Sandbox VR has opened at Westfield London, joining more than 60 global locations in its rapidly growing network.
  • The venue, part of TOCA Social, offers exclusive experiences like Squid Game Virtuals, created with Netflix.

Sandbox VR opened its newest location in July at Westfield London in White City. Housed within the expansive TOCA Social complex, the venue delivers full-body virtual reality gameplay designed for social groups of up to six players.

Guests can play a range of exclusive experiences, such as zombie apocalypses, fantasy quests, and the Netflix-partnered Squid Game Virtuals. These are all powered by VR headsets, haptic vests, and body-tracking systems. Each is a 30-minute session played in groups where players either compete or collaborate.

Now operating in more than 60 locations and attracting over 100k players monthly, according to the company, Sandbox VR is rapidly growing its global footprint with corporate-owned and franchised locations. The Westfield launch adds to the growing list of places where consumers can try out its location-based VR.
