Robot.com Debuts With 1.7 Million Real-World Robot Tasks Completed
- The company launches with over 500 robots operating globally across delivery, logistics, and advertising sectors.
- Clients include Sodexo, AWS, and a U.S. semiconductor firm using the robots in production environments.
Robot.com launched this week with a fleet of over 500 robots operating globally that have completed more than 1.7 million tasks. The robots are deployed in live production environments across the U.S., Canada, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Its robots support operations such as delivery, logistics, and advertising for Fortune 500 clients, including Sodexo, SKIP, Amazon Web Services, and more.
“For years, robotics has been about what might be possible,” said Felipe Chavez, CEO and Founder of Robot.com, in an official press release. “At Robot.com, we’re focused on what’s already working. Every task completed proves that this isn’t a future promise, but infrastructure that works today to save time, cuts costs, and scales responsibly.”
Robot.com offers a suite of autonomous robots with level 4 autonomy. R Noid is a humanoid robot built for industrial support roles. It is equipped with dual 7-degree-of-freedom arms and an 11-pound payload capacity per arm. It features a modular interface for interchangeable Gripper or Dex-Hand tools, and a dual-screen display for communication and branding. Designed to work safely alongside people, R Noid handles repetitive tasks on factory floors and warehouse lines. R Top, a stationary counterpart, performs delicate, repetitive actions at fixed stations such as kitchens and service counters.

Robot.com’s broader fleet includes dog and delivery robots. R Dog is designed for advertising in high-traffic areas. It features 2 HD cameras and 3D lidar for navigation and real-time engagement tracking, along with a high-resolution screen on its body. It even boasts a wagging tail, which moves when people engage with its interactive sensor on its head.

Its Kiwi bots are delivery robots designed for food delivery. Already trusted by partners like Sodexo, Grubhub, Aramark, and SKIP, the NVIDIA-powered robot features a 12-hour battery, a 19-liter capacity, and can reach speeds of 4.4 mph. The sidewalk robot has six HD cameras and a 3D LiDAR, which enables real-time navigation as well as an expressive display that lets it emote with face-like features. Sodexo, a leader in food service and facilities management, has deployed the company’s delivery robots on college campuses since 2021.

Finally, R Cargo is a robot designed for hybrid indoor-outdoor logistics such as navigating warehouses, crossing outdoor lots, and transporting bulk orders alongside forklifts and humans. The robot features NVIDIA-powered autonomy, 360° obstacle detection, and a range of add-ons, including self-charging stations. It can reach speeds of up to 15 mph and can handle a payload of 70 litres.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in San Francisco, Robot.com, formerly Kiwibot, is backed by investors such as Headline, UC Berkeley SkyDeck Fund, Sodexo VC, New Future Capital, Innosphere Ventures Fund and Tylt Ventures and others.
