The Crystal Super and Dream Air are built on the same optical foundation, combining 4K micro-OLED displays from Sony with Pimax’s in-house ConcaveView lenses. The Dream Air SE keeps the lens system but pares back features to hit a lower price point. Across the lineup of its next generation of PCVR headsets, the focus is on sharper visuals, deeper contrast, and slimmer form.
Final specifications of these devices were previously announced in late 2025. All three models available for pre-order. According to the company's website, the Dream Air is expected to start shipping in January while the Dream Air SE is to start shipping in February of this year.
🌀 Tom’s Take:
High-resolution micro-OLED and refined optics directly affect how convincing and comfortable PCVR feels, especially over long sessions.
