MyndXR Expands Immersive Therapy to 150 Senior Communities

- Mynd Immersive and partners are scaling immersive therapeutic care to 150 senior living communities across the U.S.
- The expansion will serve more than 45,000 residents using immersive clinical and emotional support tools.
Mynd Immersive concluded the first quarter by expanding its digital health footprint, adding 150 senior living communities to its immersive therapy platform, MyndXR. The rollout marks a significant move in bringing digital experiences into senior healthcare at scale.
“We envisioned early on that Virtual Reality would profoundly enhance the quality of life and health outcomes for seniors,” said Chris Brickler, co-founder and CEO of Mynd Immersive, in a press release. “Today, we’re seeing Mynd become an essential part of healthcare delivery, driving real-world gains in functional therapy, cognitive engagement, and staff training.”
In collaboration with Select Rehabilitation, therapists are integrating the MyndXR platform—powered by HTC VIVE XR Elite—to support a range of therapies. These include motion improvement, strength development, and functional tasks within immersive environments tailored to older adults.
The company is rolling out the platform at a rate of 25 communities per week. Supported by AT&T and other partners, Mynd Immersive is positioning XR-based care as a scalable, evidence-focused solution for aging populations.
