Moonlake AI has exited stealth with a $28 million seed round backed by AIX Ventures, Threshold, NVIDIA Ventures, and more than a dozen AI leaders and founders. Co-founded by Fan-Yun Sun and Sharon Lee, the company is developing AI reasoning models that enable āvibe codingā of interactive 2D or 3D worlds in minutes.
Moonlakeās platform uses AI to turn plain language into interactive 2D or 3D worlds that can be played and edited instantly. It combines reasoning models, code generation, physics simulation, and real-time graphics to build full environments from a simple description. Moonlake highlights that its platform can be used for user-created game worlds, development tools for studios, robotics and AI training simulations, 3D scenes for film and animation, and immersive lessons for educators.
Moonlake AI aims to remove the slow and complex steps in building interactive content. According to the company, creating games or simulations often takes large teams, expensive tools, and months of work. Even small changes can take days to test. This makes it hard for creators to experiment or bring new ideas to life. Moonlakeās system aims to cut through those delays by automating worldbuilding and letting users make changes instantly.
