  • Meta will fund over 30 U.S. organizations using its AI glasses through new Accelerator and Catalyst Grants.
  • Grant recipients will also join the Meta Wearables Community to share knowledge and scale social impact.

Meta has announced its AI Glasses Impact Grants program, offering nearly $2 million to U.S.-based organizations that are either already using Meta's AI glasses or proposing new ways to apply them. The program includes 25 Accelerator Grants for those who are using them today, 15 at $25,000 and 10 at $50,000, and five Catalyst Grants for new ideas, each at $200,000 each.

The grants aim to support both existing use cases and emerging ideas developed using Meta's recently released Wearables Device Access Toolkit. In its announcement post, Meta highlights examples such as crop diagnostics for farmers, hands-free injury tracking for athletic trainers, and mobile filmmaking tools for university students as ways the glasses are already being used today.

Applications for the grant program are now open until March 9, 2026. Meta says they expect to accept 30 companies or developers as part of this program. In addition to funding, recipients will join the Meta Wearables Community, a network of developers and researchers focused on advancing real-world applications for Meta’s wearable devices.
