LIMINAL Space Joins Disney Accelerator 2025 With Holographic Display Tech

- LIMINAL’s LED screens show 3D holograms to large groups without requiring XR headsets.
- Disney also selected Animaj, DramaBox, and Haddy for its 2025 Accelerator program.
Disney has selected LIMINAL Space for its 2025 Accelerator program based on the company’s holographic 3D display technology. LIMINAL makes modular LED screens that show volumetric content to crowds without the need for headsets, offering a new way to deliver shared immersive experiences.
The new Accelerator class includes three other companies. Animaj uses AI to help artists produce animated shows quickly for kids across popular digital platforms. DramaBox makes short vertical dramas designed for mobile viewing. Haddy runs a 3D printing factory that uses AI to produce large, recyclable structures for sets and themed spaces.
Now in its 11th year, the Disney Accelerator provides participating companies with funding and the opportunity to collaborate with Disney teams. The program supports new tools and ideas that could help shape the future of entertainment. A Demo Day will take place in November at the Disney Studios in Burbank.
“The emergence of new technologies is having more impact on the entertainment industry than ever before,” said David Min, VP of Innovation, The Walt Disney Company, in an official news release. “With the Disney Accelerator program, we have a dedicated structure for Disney to embrace these technologies and create new storytelling experiences at the pace that our audiences expect.”
