LG Electronics USA has announced RetailVerse, a retail platform delivering immersive, lifelike 3D and AR product experiences through online and in-store channels. The company said the launch is part of its effort to improve product discovery and give consumers more confidence when shopping for appliances.

RetailVerse Web, now live on LG.com, goes beyond static product imagery and video with highly interactive 3D visualizations. Features include web-ready, high-fidelity 3D models, clickable hotspots that highlight key functions, and the use of augmented reality to view virtual appliances in your home with realistic scale and lighting. Shoppers can also make use of spatial measurement tools to ensure that appliances fit in their space. The launch currently includes 40 top-selling appliances, with the product catalog expected to expand.

LG said its 3D models are built from original CAD files to ensure accuracy, with interactive elements such as opening doors, moving drawers, and viewing internal details. The company noted that AI-driven automation reduces production to under one day per model, allowing for large-scale deployment while maintaining consistent quality.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

LG is committing to 3D and AR as a core part of its omnichannel strategy, making it easier for consumers to explore products online while streamlining content creation to bring new appliances into the experience quickly.
