- The Hollywood Star AR collection features four interactive stories accessible via mobile on-site.
A new augmented reality experience is now available at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Created by immersive tech firm Imvizar, the Hollywood Star AR collection runs through October 19 during LA Tech Week and invites visitors to explore the venue’s history through interactive stories on their phones. The experience is free and available on-site throughout the week.
The collection features four interactive scenes, including a red carpet simulation, an exploration of Oscars history at the Dolby Theatre, a fantasy quest set at the Chinese Theatre, and a digital encounter with founder Sid Grauman. All were created using Lureo, Imvizar’s no-code AR tool that lets anyone design and deploy location-based content without technical expertise. Experiences are accessed via mobile devices on-site.

Founded in Ireland, Imvizar is a global leader in augmented reality and spatial storytelling, creating immersive content that connects people with history, culture, entertainment, and enterprise. Its technology powers experiences for organizations, including Salesforce and Bupa, and now brings AR storytelling to one of the world’s most recognizable cultural landmarks.
🌀 Tom’s Take:
