  • frontline.io’s software will come pre-installed and optimized on the HMS SiNGRAY G2, offering enterprise-ready AR out of the box.
  • The integration equips enterprises with a ready-to-use AR training tool for fieldwork, logistics, and factory operations.

frontline.io has announced it will be the pre-installed XR software on the newly launched HMS SiNGRAY G2 AR headset. The collaboration with HMS, a Japanese smart device and AI cloud provider, positions frontline.io’s industrial-grade AR platform as a native solution for enterprises adopting the new hardware.

“The disruptions that the discontinuation of HoloLens 2 and Magic Leap 1 caused showed us a significant opportunity to fill a much-needed gap in the industry. We’re excited to partner with HMS and utilize the power of the SiNGRAY G2 to deliver unrivaled AR software capabilities to businesses worldwide,” said Itzhak Pichadze, CEO of frontline.io, in an official news release. “After working with HMS on this for the past year, we’re able to deliver users an ultra-smooth presentation of real-time digital twin interactions and guided workflows on the best wearable AR device.”

The software provides digital twin-based experiences that enable workers to learn and operate complex equipment in industries such as aerospace, agriculture, and manufacturing. With frontline.io built into the headset, teams can launch AR workflows instantly, enabling real-time interaction, hands-free instruction, and skill development without physical contact.

HMS’s SiNGRAY G2 features 1920×1080 Micro-OLED displays per eye, 90 Hz refresh rate, and Qualcomm’s QCS8550 chipset with Intel AI capabilities. The device supports high-performance remote collaboration and low-latency rendering of 3D models. Pre-orders of the headset are expected to begin in late 2025, with mass production expected in 2026.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

Bundling enterprise software with an AR headset is a savvy move by HMS. It gives enterprise customers exactly what they need, a full-stack solution that’s ready to deploy. But the real play here is lock-in. By offering both the hardware and software layers, HMS and frontline.io are not just selling immersive tech, they’re embedding themselves deep into workflows. That’s where long-term value and leverage lives.
