Tech Week is back in San Francisco this week from October 6 to October 12.

A decentralized tech conference presented by a16z, Tech Week offers hundreds of events that take place across the city, from hackathons to panel events, community meetups, and more. Every event is organized individually by startups, companies, and VCs.

We’ve gathered a few standout events exploring the future of spatial computing, where physical AI, immersive design, and machine perception meet.

Pitch your Startup in Spatial to Raise Funding

October 8 at 1:00 pm - Register here

Presented by WebSpatial and hosted by Tony Parisi, co-creator of VRML and glTF, and former head of XR at Unity, this event focuses on how startups can use WebSpatial, an open-source SDK, to transform 2D websites into immersive apps for Apple Vision Pro. Founders will learn how to prototype and pitch in 3D, with select startups joining the WebSpatial program to build their own spatial experiences.

Deep Tech Nexus

October 8 at 4:00 pm - Register here

Hosted by Crusoe, NVIDIA, Omni Ventures, Virta Ventures, and HPE, this event gathers investors and founders driving the rise of Physical AI. Panels include voices from BMW iVentures, Toyota Ventures, and Archetype AI, covering robotics, energy, and sustainable compute.

Automating the Future of Food with Physical AI and Robotics

October 9 at 6:30 pm - Register here

Hosted by Chef Robotics, this event gives attendees a close look at how automation is changing food production. Participants will see Chef’s meal assembly robots in action, technology already behind more than 67 million meals served in commercial kitchens. Founder and CEO Rajat Bhageria will share how the company is scaling automation and putting it to work in real-world kitchens.

Spatial Renaissance: Real Spaces to Visual World

October 9 at 7:00 pm - Register here

Featuring voices with backgrounds from Meta Reality Lab, Unity, Shopify, and Collov.ai, this event brings together designers and founders advancing how we see, build, and interact with spatial environments. Speakers include Yiqi Zhao (Meta), Charles (Intangible AI, ex-Unity), Ilan (ex-Shopify), and Shawn Shen (Memories AI). Moderated by Laura Lin of Collov.ai, the conversation centers on the practical ways spatial intelligence is moving from research to real-world products.

Sensing + | AI & Art & XR immersion

October 9 at 8:00 pm - Register here

Presented by Pebblebed, a venture firm led by former OpenAI, Facebook AI Research, and Slack technologists, this hands-on gathering features explores how extended reality and machine learning are redefining art, interaction, and collective experience. The event will feature generative works by Refik Anadol and Gene Kogan.

Robot-Puppy Yoga

October 10 at 9:45 am - Register here

Robots join a yoga class to explore what happens when machines enter a space built on trust and calm. The experience mixes curiosity with play and asks technologists and designers to notice how our movements shift when technology becomes part of the room.

AI+ MultiModal Day

October 10 at 10:30 am - Register here

A major anchor of SF Tech Week, AI+ Multimodal Day convenes founders and researchers from across the multimodal ecosystem—spanning Meta, Memories.ai, Orbifold.ai, GMIcloud, TinyFish, Tavus, and Plaud. The lineup includes Yiqi Zhao (Meta Reality Lab), Paul Klein IV (Lancedb), Div Garg (theagi.company), Shawn Shen (Memories.ai), and Iris Sun (500 Global), among others. With sessions hosted by AI+, Hat-Trick Capital, and Meta, this event offers one of the most complete perspectives on where multimodal and spatial AI are heading next.

Museum of Wearables Evolution at World ID

October 10 at 5:00 pm - Register here

World ID is opening its new Union Square flagship with an event that brings together voices from identity, AI, and design. The showcase includes early wearable tech milestones and an early look at Taya, an AI pendant that reimagines what a wearable can be. The evening explores the meeting point of hardware and human experience, led by founders and makers advancing AI and fashion.

AI Flexible Biosensors

October 11 at 11:00 am - Register here

Experts from Google, Meta, and Microsoft will share how AI and flexible sensing are reshaping the connection between people and machines. Their talks cover wearable systems for space missions, real-time biosignal analysis, and new forms of spatial touch in mixed reality.
