Fauna Robotics Joins Amazon While Continuing Product Sales And Support
  • Fauna Robotics announced it has joined Amazon and will operate as an Amazon company going forward.
  • The company said it will keep selling its Sprout Creator Edition robots and continue supporting current customers without changes.

Fauna Robotics announced that it has joined Amazon and will now operate as an Amazon company. The update was shared by co-founder and CEO Rob Cochran, who reflected on the company’s progress since launching in New York City in February 2024.

"When we launched in NYC back in February 2024, we set out with a clear mission: to "build capable, safe, and fun robots for everyone." Looking back at how far we've come in just two years, I am immensely proud of everything our team has accomplished," Cochran said in a Linkedin post

The company said there will be no change to its current product availability or customer commitments. It confirmed that new customers can still purchase the Sprout Creator Edition robots, and existing users will continue receiving support.

Fauna Robotics will keep its name while operating within Amazon and is expanding its team as it enters this next phase. Cochran also noted that the company remains focused on the same mission it set at launch.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

This move feels like Amazon is getting closer to the humanoid robotics wave early, by bringing in a team as the category takes shape.
