Even Realities has launched the G2 smart glasses and R1 smart ring, a new pair of wearables designed to work together. The G2 is a binocular heads-up display that displays information in your field of view, while the R1 is a smart ring that allows you to control it with simple touch gestures. The wearable systems enable users to perform tasks such as accessing real-time translation, on-screen directions, contextual AI assistance, and discreet management of digital tasks in a heads-up format.

Like its previous smartglasses, G1, the new model features Even HAO, a proprietary optical system that combines projectors, waveguides, and precision lenses for sharp, stable visuals without sacrificing peripheral or passthrough clarity. The Even G2 smart glasses feature a 75% larger floating display than the previous model, with improved sharpness and edge-to-edge clarity. The frame is slimmer and lighter, made from titanium and magnesium, and comes in two styles and three colors, including grey, green, and eventually brown. Single vision prescription lens options are also available. The glasses offer a two-day battery life, and the included charging case provides up to seven full charges.
With the G2, Even Realities is introducing its contextual AI, Conversate, that can serve as a thought partner, answer questions, or provide AI summaries of conversations. Users can also use the glasses for real-time translation with subtitles in 31 languages, navigation, a teleprompter, and to view a customizable dashboard for updates, health tracking, and reminders.

The Even R1 smart ring complements the G2, acting as both a controller and a wellness device. Touch sensors on the outer surface let users interact with what’s shown on the glasses using subtle taps and scroll gestures. Inside, optical sensors and LEDs track vital signs including heart rate, temperature, sleep quality, and a proprietary Productivity Score that reflects mental readiness. Made from zirconia ceramic and medical-grade stainless steel, the grey ring has a four-day battery life, is IP68 water resistant, and features an anti-fingerprint coating.
Both devices are available now for $599 USD and are shipping out as early as 3-4 weeks depending on the product options and location.
🌀 Tom’s Take:
By combining smart glasses, a control ring, and an onboard AI assistant, Even is offering a unified approach that brings together features usually spread across separate devices.
