DAZN and Meta have introduced a new way to experience the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 through the DAZN: FIFA Club World Cup XR Experience app, now on Meta Quest and exclusively available to registered DAZN users in the U.S.
Created in collaboration with Immersiv.io, the app offers a 3D tabletop mode that recreates the full pitch and player movements in real time. In addition to live video streaming with multi-angle camera views and interactive XR stats panels, users can explore matches from multiple angles and replay key moments in interactive 3D. One quarter-final, the semi-finals, and the final will include enhanced 180-degree video and 360-degree content for a deeper level of immersion.
“DAZN’s partnership with Meta represents a bold step forward in pushing the boundaries of innovation in how soccer is experienced. We’re thrilled to give U.S. fans a new, immersive way to enjoy the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 — combining the world’s best club soccer with cutting-edge extended reality technology," said Peter Parmenter, EVP of Business Development at DAZN, in an official news release. "This collaboration reinforces our commitment to making world-class sport more accessible and inclusive, reaching fans wherever they are, on the devices they use.”
The launch comes as the FIFA Club World Cup expands to 32 teams in a single 30-day tournament. Available via the Meta Horizon Store, the XR experience marks a new direction in how fans engage with global club soccer.
