Apptronik Extends Series A With $520 Million to Scale Apollo Production
- The company added $520 million to its Series A after a $415 million oversubscribed raise in 2025, bringing the round’s total to more than $935 million and overall funding to nearly $1 billion.
- Apptronik will use the capital to expand production and deployment of its humanoid robot Apollo, while investing in training facilities and a new robot planned for 2026.
Apptronik announced a $520 million Series A-X extension backed by returning investors B Capital, Google, Mercedes-Benz, and PEAK6, along with new investors including AT&T Ventures, John Deere, and Qatar Investment Authority. The extension follows a $415 million oversubscribed Series A in 2025, pushing the total Series A above $935 million and bringing the company’s cumulative funding to nearly $1 billion. The company said the new extension was opened after continued inbound investor interest and was priced at three times the valuation of the initial Series A.
The company says the new funding will support increased production of its humanoid robot, Apollo, and broader commercial and pilot deployments across global markets. Apptronik said it will accelerate time to market and invest in facilities focused on robot training and data collection to address customer needs in retail, manufacturing, and logistics. The company is also preparing to debut a new robot in 2026.
Apptronik has partnerships with Mercedes-Benz, GXO Logistics, and Jabil, and maintains a strategic collaboration with Google DeepMind to build humanoid robots powered by Gemini Robotics. Apollo is designed to work alongside people in manufacturing and logistics, taking on physically demanding tasks such as transporting components, sorting, and kitting.
🌀 Tom’s Take:
