  • New immersive titles from Red Bull, BBC, CNN, HYBE, MotoGP, and more will debut in the coming months.
  • These new films are among the first to use Blackmagic’s URSA Cine Immersive camera and DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Apple has unveiled a new slate of immersive films created for Apple Vision Pro, featuring projects from global brands including the BBC, Red Bull, CNN, and HYBE. These films are produced using Blackmagic Design’s URSA Cine Immersive camera and edited in DaVinci Resolve Studio. The initial release, Tour De Force, a MotoGP documentary by CANAL+, is available now.

“Apple Immersive Video has redefined what’s possible in storytelling, placing audiences inside each moment with a remarkable sense of presence,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, in an official news release. “Apple Vision Pro users can enjoy storytelling in ways that just aren’t possible otherwise, and we can’t wait for them to enjoy the first projects from some of the world’s most innovative filmmakers.”

Upcoming highlights include World of Red Bull, which follows elite freeskiers on untouched slopes in British Columbia, and A Night at the BBC Proms, where viewers sit inches from pianist Lukas Sternath during a live orchestral performance at Royal Albert Hall. In CNN’s Journey to Antarctica, Bill Weir joins researchers and emperor penguins on Snow Hill Island to explore the effects of climate change. HYBE’s CORTIS offers a behind-the-scenes look at the new K-pop group from the label behind BTS. Each film is designed to take full advantage of Apple Vision Pro’s spatial video and audio capabilities.

Apple Vision Pro users can watch the new films on the Apple TV app. Starting in October, extended previews of Tour De Force will be shown at Apple Store locations in six countries, including the U.S., U.K., and Japan. Apple is also releasing new episodes of its original immersive series Wild Life and Elevated, adding to its expanding library of spatial content.

🌀 Tom’s Take:

Apple is clearly betting that high-end, exclusive entertainment will drive long-term engagement with Vision Pro. The growing pipeline of original content, now supported by a full professional production stack from Blackmagic, shows Apple’s intent to define the premium standard for immersive storytelling.
