  • Nexus NX1 combines haptics, motion platforms, and robotic footwear for high-fidelity human-machine interaction.
  • It includes a software toolkit for VR and robotics integration and is now available for pre-order.

1HMX has launched Nexus NX1, a full-body platform that brings together several immersive technologies into a single integrated system. It uses HaptX Gloves G1 for tactile and force feedback to the hands, Virtuix Omni One for 360-degree movement, and Freeaim Shoes, which replicate footstep motion through motorized control. With 72 degrees of freedom full-body and hand tracking, the system enables precise motion capture and feedback across the entire body.

"With Nexus NX1, we've established a whole new product category that is vital to the future of humanoid robotics and virtual reality," said Joe Baddeley, CEO of 1HMX, in a press release. "The product epitomizes our 1HMX vision to be the leader of seamless, innovative, and intuitive human-machine experience solutions."

Nexus NX1 enables natural human input for both simulation and machine interaction. It captures detailed motion, tactile, and posture data to drive lifelike digital avatars or robotic systems in real time. Organizations in manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and research can use it to build high-precision environments for training, testing, or teleoperation.
